Overnight Glow Up Mission 1 – Face
Skin care – Start by thoroughly cleansing your face to remove any dirt, oil, and makeup. Follow up with a gentle exfoliator to remove dead skin cells and reveal a brighter complexion. Then apply a hydrating serum or moisturizer to nourish your skin overnight. Finally give yourself a facial massage, this will help with blood circulation.
Brows -Tidy up overgrown eyebrows by carefully plucking stray hairs. Then, gently use an eyebrow brush to remove any dry skin that may have accumulated in the area.
Lips – You need to make sure your lips are soft as this enhances your general appearance.
DIY Lip Scrubber
Ingredients
1 tablespoon of granulated sugar (white or brown)
1/2 tablespoon of vaseline or coconut oil.
Directions
Mix the two then gently apply the lip scrub to your lips using your fingertips or a soft toothbrush.
Massage the scrub onto your lips in circular motions for about 1-2 minutes to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells.
Rinse your lips with warm water and pat dry with a soft towel.
Follow up with a moisturizing lip balm to hydrate and protect your lips.

Overnight Glow Up Mission 2- Nails
If you have artificial nails then just moisturize your hands before you sleep and remove any debris that might have accumulated between the artificial nail and your fingertip.
For those without artificial nails -Start with cutting and filing your nails. Then remove any old nail polish before applying a new one.
I always have white nail polish in the house and a clear coat for emergencies. You can decide on whatever neutral color of emergency nail polish you will buy.
I would not recommend bright colors as they might not suit all occasions.
Glow Up Mission 3 – Hair
Firstly massage your scalp, you can either use your fingertips or a hair brush, Hair massage helps stimulate blood flow in your hair follicles.
Secondly, shampoo your hair ; Choose a mild and hydrating shampoo that suits your hair type and scalp condition. Avoid shampoos with harsh ingredients that might strip away natural oils.
Thirdly, deep condition: Apply a deep conditioning treatment or hair mask to nourish and hydrate your hair. Since this is an overnight glow up, concentrate the product more on the ends and lengths of your hair, avoiding the scalp if it tends to get oily. If you have a deep conditioner that allows longer time to stay in the hair, use it. Other than that 5-10 minutes is the recommended duration.
Lastly, protective hairstyle: Consider putting your hair in a protective style like a loose bun to prevent tangling and breakage while you sleep. You can also invest in a satin or silk bonnet. As they have fabrics gentler on your hair compared to cotton, helping to preserve your hairstyle and minimize frizz.
