Let’s make a scrambled egg toast. I love toast bread especially when I tune it a little bit to my own liking. I make my toast breads either by just adding scrambled eggs, avocado or just butter on top. Today I experimented with scrambled eggs plus avocado and I totally loved it. Hence I thought it best to show you how I made my morning breakfast for today.
In the morning after I drink my morning water, I do my breakfast, it can either be sausages, Greek yogurt and honey plus apple slices or toast bread. Anyway today I will be taking you through how I make my 5 minute scrambled egg toast for breakfast. Let us get started.
5 Minute Scrambled Egg Toast For Breakfast
Scrambled eggs refers to a dish made by mixing eggs and cooking them while stirring or folding gently. I normally season my scrambled eggs with salt and powdered white garlic. Powdered white garlic gives a subtle flavor without necessarily overpowering the egg. On the other hand, a toast is a slice of bread that has been browned by exposure to heat. I normally toast my bread using a toaster. The below recipe is enough for one person.
Ingredients
- One egg
- Olive oil
- Salt for seasoning
- One slice of bread
- Powdered white garlic
- Avocado for added taste and nutrients.
Instructions
- Start by warming the pan ( I normally warm mine by boiling water on it).
- Add salt and white garlic to the egg and beat it.
- Pour the olive oil to the pan then add the eggs.
- Fold the eggs and reduce the temperature so they do not get burned.
- Put the bread on the toaster wait until golden brown (my preference color).
- Slice the avocado and smear it on top of the toasted bread as soon below.
7. Finally, add the scrambled egg. Serve with tea, coffee or fruit juice and enjoy.
Alternatives
You can use liquid butter which is butter that is mixed with oil, the taste is better but research shows that it is less healthy compared to olive oil and also it burns quickly.
You can omit the avocado and top it with something else just make sure it is healthy.
