Realistic goals come after you have plan out your life. You need to have timelines that are attainable and goals that will not frustrate you. Figure out which goals are the most important and work on those first. This helps you use your time and energy better. Write down what you want to achieve in different areas of your life.

You don not have to only celebrate when you achieve something major. You have to be proud of everytime you make a forward step into the right direction. Be your now cheerleader, pat yourself in the back anytime you make an effort that really counts.

5. Declutter
Decluttering helps you get organized and remove unnecessary stress. You have to declutter as it promotes better mental clarity and overall well-being. When you declutter, start small and have a specific goal that you want to achieve. Be honest about what you truly need. I have a rule when it comes to clothes: I donate anything that i have not worn in two years.

6. Set boundaries
Setting boundaries really helps with your mental glow up. Firstly, determine what makes you feel comfortable and what doesn’t. Secondly, note the areas in your life where you need to set boundaries for example work, relationships and personal time. Thirdly, Be assertive and clear when expressing your boundaries. Lastly distant yourself from people who do not respect your boundaries.

7. Always take evening walks
Connect with nature, be outside. I have made it my personal goal to always take walks daily. Even if it is only around my neighborhood. As I have realized that it helps with my moods and also my health. Taking walks helps you just be and clear your mind from any thing that might have overwhelmed you during the day.
8. Nourish your mind
Be mindful about what you allow your mind to consume. Quiet thoughts that are not bring stress and change your mood. Additionally, it is important to avoid self-negative talk as it changes how you view yourself.
9. Maintain only useful connections
We try to hold on to too many connections that drain us. For you to glow up mentally, you have to re-evaluate the connections in you life. They have the ability to either. Keep only useful connections that support your mental glow up rather than or negatively affect it.

10. Love yourself unconditionally
You are the only consistent person in your life. Also people treat you how you treat yourself. Love yourself despite your flaws, Love yourself even when you feel down. This will help you not be too hard on yourself and also helps with your mental glow up.

This is not a weakness. We are humans and we can not do it all by ourselves. When people offer you help it relieves your brain. Next time you feel like you can not do it all, ask people for help.

Write down what bothers you journal. Journaling helps reduce stress which is good for your mental state. Journaling also helps you keep tabs of your emotions and feelings and you can reflect back and let your past experiences strengthen you.

14. Try to heal your inner child
Healing your inner child means dealing with and understanding childhood traumas and emotional wounds. By facing these issues, you can see how they influence your current behavior, thoughts, and feelings.
